Today we have added the loaves of bread remembering that Jesus is the bread of life. Matthew 4:4. 6:11; John 6:32, 6:48; 1 Corinthians 10:16-17, 11:26
As we look at our Garden tonight, we see just a few of the symbols of His passion. Please examine it with your heart and not your eyes only. Please read again for yourself, Jesus Betrayal and Arrest: Matthew 26:47-56, Mark 26:43-52, Luke 22:47-53, John 18:1-11
Today we add to our garden the wood and ask you to think about the Cross, and the wood that was used. What does it mean to you personally? Matthew 10:38, 27:32; Galatians 6:14; Ephesians 2:16; Philippians 3:18; Hebrews 12:2
Golgotha Garden Day 3, Today as we continue our journey we have added purple candles and one white candle to represent Jesus our lord and remembering that He is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD. Isaiah 2:5; Psalm 27:1, 119:105; Matthew 5:14, 15; John 1:9; Ephesians 5:8
Today in our journey of faith as a time for soul searching we have added 7 rocks to the garden to remind us all the ways that Jesus is our ROCK. Psalm 18:2; Psalm 40:2; Matthew 7:24; Matthew 16:18; Romans 9:33; 1 Corinthians 10:3-4.
Today is Palm Sunday, we are starting here as the beginning of Holy Week, as. You listen to the scripture being read, respond to it, how are you living the scripture in your life? How are you seeing yourself in the events of Holy Week as they unfold in the scriptures? We are to ponder these things as Mary the mother of Jesus did in our hearts. We are to consider. Who we were in the events, were we saying, “who is this, what does he want?” Or were we those laying down our cloaks and palms over the path and yelling “Hosanna (which means, God save us, rescue us) blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, Hosanna!”? Ponder these things today, don’t get caught up in the things around you, get caught up in the God who saves!
